Sammy Loffler
BSc (Hons) RAD RTS ISTD
RAD AsTA Approved Tutor
Principal and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Sammy began dancing with Westbury Park Dance Centre aged 5, attending classes most evenings in graded and vocational ballet, modern, jazz and festival work. Having been given the opportunity to join the WPDC faculty as a teaching assistant in 2014, Sammy realised she had no plans to leave the school any time soon.

Alongside her degree in Virology and Immunology (University of Bristol), Sammy began teaching at the school and supported by Principals Pamela and Pauline and Stephanie Germanis, achieved Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance through the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She is a full member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and registered with People Dancing UK.
Sammy is passionate about dance pedagogy and teacher development and is excited to guide upcoming teachers in the early stages of their careers.

Upon becoming Principal of Westbury Park Dance Centre in Summer 2024 Sammy is dedicated to continue the work of Bettie, Pamela and Pauline to provide outstanding dance teaching and promote a lifelong love of movement.

Tabitha Cameron-Kettle
FdA DTPS, BA (Hons), RAD RTS, ISTD DDE (ICB, MT, Con), RT BBODANCE, RT Rambert Grades, RAD AsTA Approved Tutor, RAD Silver Swans Licensee, SiDI HDPC
Teacher
Tabitha's first steps in Ballet and Tap were at the Grand Theatre School of Dance in Swansea. She was a Cecchetti Associate for several years and attended intensives with Ballet Cymru. It was this involvement which confirmed that she would like to become a dance teacher specialising in ballet.
Tabitha gained her ISTD DDE and RAD RTS qualifications alongside her FdA Dance Teaching in the Private Sector and BA(Hons) Dance Studies. She holds RTS with bbodance and the Safe In Dance International Certificate in Healthy Dance Practice.
Tabitha is enthusiastic about inspiring young people to explore all aspects of dance including the historical development of different genres and safe dance practice.

Megan Fitzpatrick
BA (Hons) PGDip
Teacher
Megan is a life long lover of the theatre and musicals in particular. Growing up in South Wales, Megan attended the Angel School of Dance and performed onstage with the New Venture Players before moving onto university.
After graduating, Megan earned a place to study Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. This training allowed Megan to take on roles both on and off stage including designing, producing and performing.
Since moving to Bristol, Megan jumped back into dance and theatre, performing with AE Dance Fitness and joing Bristol Musical Theatre as their director.
Megan is thrilled to share her passion for performing with the young people at Westbury Park Dance Centre.

Pamela Wingfield
Exam Coach
Ex Principal of Westbury Park Dance Centre, Pamela Wingfield started dancing at the
age of 8 years old at The Annette Adams School of Dance with Annette herself.
Whilst studying Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz Pamela also became part of Gloria Sheaves Dance Troupe, and danced on Opportunity Knocks, and Come Dancing three times. At the age of 17 Pamela left school and the following day started her first Summer Season in the Tommy Cooper Show in the Carlton Theatre at the end of the Pier in Skegness. Here she gained her Equity card after being sponsored by Ray Allan (and Lord Charles! Of course).
Pamela decided to team up with her then Fiancé, Melvyn Wingfield, to form a Song and Dance Duo. ‘Mel and Pam’ then worked up and down the country in clubs and theatres, with various acts from Astaire and Rogers, Twenties, and Vaudeville
themes.
In 1979 Pamela started the Wingfield School of Ballet and Dance in Sea Mills Methodist
Hall on a Saturday morning, with one pupil! Slowly class numbers grew! As well as running the Wingfield School, Pamela and Melvyn opened The Dance Place in the old Carwardine Coffee House (ex Bodyworks gym) at the top of Park Street, in 1988. This was an amazing venue, and became a successful venture, with Wayne Sleep doing his first ever Dance Workshops here. Unfortunately, the premises were sold by the London owners in 1993. A sad loss of a wonderful venue for Bristol.
Pamela took on the Westbury Park Dance Centre with Pauline Reynolds in 1999, after the death of the legendary teacher Bettie Vowles. Pamela thoroughly enjoyed working with the students and parents on exams and Shows until her retirement in July 2024, just after she was awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) in the Kings New Years
honours list in December 2023.
Pamela is looking forward to continuing her association with Westbury Park Dance Centre, and will see all of you at Shows, Festivals and Examinations in the future.
